About Porter Roofing

Dave Porter started roofing in 1986 with a Northern California roofing contractor. That is 40 years on roofs. He learned one rule early: do the job right and never take shortcuts.

In 1991, he started Porter Roofing in Orangevale. It was a small, family-run business. It grew through referrals and long-term relationships, not flashy promises.

For 35 years, we have roofed homes and businesses in Orangevale and nearby communities. We repair and replace roofs. We also handle gutters, insulation, skylights and solar. Our crew brings exceptional craftsmanship to every roof.

Every job starts with a free estimate. Our work comes with a written workmanship warranty. For storm damage, we meet with your insurance adjuster to help make sure you get a fair deal.

We show up on time and treat every customer like a neighbor. Your roof protects your family and everything you own. We take that seriously.

Built on trust. Backed by experience.
